Vinci and Pinocchio: Family Tour
The hilltown village of Vinci, the birthplace of Leonardo, features a Museum dedicated to the life, works and experiments of this great Renaissance genius. The main piazza offers a marvelous view of the valley as well as an excellent trattoria for the break for lunch. In the afternoon, the visit includes a trip to the village of Collodi, birthplace of the author of Pinocchio, Carlo Collodi. Today, the village is the home to a very quaint theme park dedicated to the story of Pinocchio.
